 SPECIAL THANKS

The committee would like to thank all the local businesses and individuals too numerous to mention who have continued to support the Festival’s success.

 Disclaimer

The Mull of Kintyre Music & Arts Association gives no warranty that artists named in this publication will perform at any particular time, or at all, but every effort will be made to carry out the programme as advertised.

Licensing Laws

A local by-law prohibiting the consumption of alcohol outwith a “designated area” came into effect on 1st August 1999.  Permission for a “designated area” for the consumption of alcohol has been granted to the Mull of Kintyre Music & Arts Association to include a cordoned off area on Kinloch Green on Saturday 21st between 12pm - 5pm only and in Burnside Car Park on Saturday evening 6pm - 8pm only.  The consumption of alcohol outwith these areas and allocated times will be deemed an offence.  We will be grateful if members of the public observe this by-law in order to create a relaxed, enjoyable weekend for young and old alike and maintain a good image of the town for potential visitors and for future festivals and events.

PLEASE NOTE - It is illegal to bring alcohol on to Kinloch Green.  Furthermore it is illegal to bring alcohol into the designated licensed area unless it is purchased at the Beer Tent.  Please support the festival by purchasing your alcohol and soft drinks at the new beer tent.  This will enable the festival committee to continue to improve the services at this venue!
